Education

Education is a basic human right

A child’s right to education entails the right to learn. Yet, for too many children in Uganda, schooling does not lead to learning. Poverty remains one of the most obstinate barriers. Even though two thirds of children in rural areas are in schools, 6 out of 10 drop out. Majority of their parents cannot afford school fees, scholastic materials and other basic school necessities or requirements such as uniforms and shoes.

What We Do

We provide scholastic materials such as books, pens, pencils, text books to children and youths who come from families stricken by poverty and cannot afford these. We also seek for scholarships for children whose parents can’t fully afford tuition. Our targets include children and youths from poverty stricken families, children with disabilities, children who are orphans or unheard.

Join us to empower the most marginalized children in Uganda!
